Where Oh Where

Where, oh where has my little friend gone?  Sometimes when I sell an item from my Etsy shop I really, really miss that item.  Although I never, ever make the same item or try to duplicate anything exactly I do start out in the same direction.  Usually in the first few minutes of working the piece it takes on a life of it's own.  That's what makes it so much fun doing these little creatures, I never know exactly what I will end up with.

Home and heart

They say home is where the heart is, I'm home and here is where I will stay.  I missed these vivid blue skys and brilliant red sand stone rocks of Nevada.  I missed the warmth of the Sun in November, Great turkey celebrations where you don't have to bundle up on the way home.  Here we ease into the Christmas holiday where the bright Las Vegas lights compete with the Merry Christmas decorations and usually win just because they are a year round celebration.

Reincarnating Fun!

Soooo Excited!!  I put this little fellow up on my Etsy shop site and it sold almost immediately!!  This little one is going to Colorado to one of my newest favorite Etsy friends, thanks Jen for your continued support and encouragement.  It's always a kick to google the towns where my little treasures are going to and always fun to send them off to a new "loved once again" life.  I'll be away from my shop for a few days of roaming the countryside looking for Estate sales and out of the way yard sales hoping for some fantastic "New" once loved items to embellish and reincarnate.
