Wild hair day

My latest little reincarnated doll is quite a menagerie or 3-D collage if you will. I wasn't quite sure what she wanted to be. I think I ended up with a Sea Nymph of some sort probably near Hawaii or Tahiti, but we had fun she and I with her new makeover. Usually I take the braided hair and put it up into a headdress, she kept taking it down until I finally let it go and gave into her wishes. The little jingle bells make a lot of noise if you shake her a little. Some nights I wake up to what I think are little jingle noises but haven't caught her in the act...yet. She is now ready for adoption in my little shop and there will never be another her and I am excited to think about where she might go to live her new life.

Reincarnated makeover

Check out my Blogazine at Kaboodle As long as I am creating something I am happy, as long as I am happy I will continue to create. I found some really interesting material at the Thrift Museum, it's especially made for tie dying and coloring using water paints, veggie dyes and blends in odd ways. Will wonders never cease? Just when I think I have tried it all. I think it was Michealangelo who said "May you always desire more than you can accomplish" or something like that, anyway Well said.

Spirit Jar witch Bottle Container

It has been said that mischievous sprits are drawn to certain colors, stones and elements and dangles or tassels confuse them. I took that knowledge and created a Spirit Jar to attract the spirits that hide your car keys and shoes. Once in side the jar the silly spirit gets confused and is trapped inside no longer playing the tricks that drive you nuts. There is plenty for him to do inside and to keep him happy playing there. No harm comes to the spirit. Of course this is for entertainment purposes only and for adult use only, not recommended for children (they would not fit inside anyway).

There are small polished rock chips, shell, coral, beads, jewelry pieces and other odds and ends to many to list which makes this little Jar a pretty thing to sit on a shelf near a window so the sun can play with the colors. I used many different recycled jewelry pieces in making the jar and many pieces which were broken and useless have now been reincarnated into something new and exciting and all are happy with their new look.
