The most magnificent Wildflower always blooms where ever it's seed happens to land. We could take a lesson from the Wildflower and it's strength and beauty. This is a fun blog contest at fang-tasticbooks for a free custom poster, maybe I could have a group picture done with all my little dollies at once! Now that would be a fun poster, of course I'd have to separate some of them. You know how jealous some of the diva types can get. Incantaroma Blog

Incantaroma Protection Dolls, one protects the front entrance to your home the other protects your back entrance. I put wooden beads in a bottle and added drops of special oils with protective essences and sealed it shut. We moved from a bigger town and bigger home to a smaller town and moved in with an elderly relative who was unable to care for themselves at the time. So some items were boxed away for a few years and when I finally found the beads they had been aging in this bottle for four years. They smell wonderful and I am sure they have some very good protective powers. I came up with the name "Incantaroma" because there is an incantation for protection and the dolls are wearing some of the aromatic beads. I love using color with my pieces because colors themselves have protective powers.

Lucid Dragon Dreams

Would that I could dream of a beautiful, powerful she Dragon of pale colors almost translucent perched high on a mountain top (dragon skin cannot feel cold you know) stretching my wings and belching fire...no, make that hiccuping fire (I am ladylike) before flying in circles above the fertile landscape of my life. I have focused on this picture and other dragon pictures trying in vain to have a Lucid Dream of Dragons and it just has not happened. Well, I guess I need more insight into Lucid Dreaming, another way of focusing on Dragons, or maybe if I created my own dragons it would spill over into my Lucid Dream scape. There is always something new to learn some new path to be trod a new way to look at the world through these imperfect eyes of mine. What new path are you walking upon today and which fork in the path are you thinking of taking?

Creative Nose Knows

When you allow the right nostril to breath clearly and slow the flow through the left nostril the right side of your body and also the left hemisphere of the brain are predominant, the mind is more receptive at this time. And then when I create I will try to keep the Right side of my brain stimulated. Oh, that reminds me I checked out the blog at "Son of Right Hemisphere Laboratory" and he is as creative if not more than ever by showing how his creativeness evolves, it is way sooo cool.
So I will try to sleep with my one right nostril open to start off tonight and see if it helps my Lucid Dreaming scheming. Who knows couldn't hurt. Lying on the left side or keeping a pillow under the left side is said to help open the right nostril.

Child Within

There is always the child within to fall back on. Everyone has that child inside, you know the one. When you just have to splash in the puddles, when you get the urge to jump on that roller coaster and hold your hands up high and trust that the ride won't go off the tracks even though your stomach thinks it just might. Have a little fun today with that child inside and maybe introduce that child to your child over cookie dough or play dough. Everyone needs to let that inner child out once in a while and just have fun, have a good laugh see new things through those inner child eyes. What kind of things bring out the inner child in you?

Healing Path

A random choice of cards today turned out to be the "Healing" card. This card shows that a situation that has caused concern is on the mend. Well. that's good news and should pull everyone out of any funk they might find themselves in today. Visualizing the situation as healed no matter how hard that is can be a great starting point toward healing. Instead of focusing all your energy on what is wrong visualize what it would be like if the healing had already occurred. Visualization can help in many instances of both emotional pain and physical pain. I made a journal and wrote in the journal in red all the wrongs I believed were done to me by others and when I finished I read it from front to back. Then I built a fire (in a safe place) and burned it and said goodbye to it all with lots of creative ceremony as I watched the ashes and sparks fly away. It helped me release the negative hold those things had on me and helped me heal myself. Not that I am totally over some of those wrongs, but I don't think about them on a daily basis anymore. What are some of the ways you have helped yourself to heal, I am always ready to learn.
