Spirit Rehab Jar

Suitably labeled as a Spirit Rehab Jar, this little glass and recycled jewelry jar is the perfect place to rehabilitate those prank playing spirits that are causing havoc in your life (not to mention your love life too). This is a beautiful and useful piece of Desk Jewelry you will enjoy for years or until the Spirits drawn into it get paroled for good behavior.

Scammers Beware

I received a scam email this morning regarding one of my items with an extremely expensive price tag of $10,000.00 for a print. I put this in my shop as a joke and never expected anyone to really buy it, but it was good publicity and got me a lot of views. Ha, ha. Only a scammer would consider buying it. My fury is now unleashed, this is what I emailed back to the scammer:

f you would truly like to have the item listed for $10,000.00 please deposit this amount into my Paypal account immediately and as soon as the funds have cleared I would be more than happy to send the item to you.

If, however this offer is not a true offer and in your heart you know the difference I will send you something free of charge. In the next two days to two weeks you will suffer the hex of three, which affects black hearts only.

The first of the three hex tribulation will occur to your heart in the form of a loss or damage to something you value. At this time if you wish you can choose to purchase a smaller item from my shop as an apology. I will not know who you are since I sell items from my Paypal account all the time I will not know which buyer was willing to cheat me at their own peril.

The second hex will affect the heart and you will be shamed with the loss of something or someone close to your heart. I am not an evil entity so no one but you will suffer from this curse of the hex of three, but a loss is a loss. At this time if you wish to atone for your blackened heart you will purchase three items from my shop and the curse will be terminated.

If at this time you have not learned the lesson of letting go of a withered black heart there will be a permanent curse upon you at intervals of no less than every two months you will suffer either a loss of something you value or something you love. This hex will continue over and over until you have given up your black heart and made your apologies to me by buying five items from my shop.

This curse is in effect as of this minute which is 11:13 a.m.

I look forward to doing business with you and value you as a customer. Thank you for your interest and thank you for visiting my shop at etsy.

Materials NOT to Love

Do you create things you do NOT love to get more sales? If I did NOT love what I created I would be using materials such as Hominy, shellfish, slugs, fish scales and maybe earwax (I hate ear wax, my ears spend way too much time making this stuff to the delight of my Doctor)

Sometimes I find that a piece I am working on is becoming difficult, not looking quite right or nothing seems to work as I try this bead or that button. I find that if I just set it aside and go on to something else that when I come back to that piece everything just seems to fit and then I really do love it. Maybe I am working against the will and personality of the materials themselves and not listening to them.

I love creating new one of a kind items and have found in the process that I really love photographing them too and in doing this I have reminders of all my little friends no matter where they go to live.

Spirit Jar witch Bottle Container

It has been said that mischievous sprits are drawn to certain colors, stones and elements and dangles or tassels confuse them. I took that knowledge and created a Spirit Jar to attract the spirits that hide your car keys and shoes. Once in side the jar the silly spirit gets confused and is trapped inside no longer playing the tricks that drive you nuts. There is plenty for him to do inside and to keep him happy playing there. No harm comes to the spirit. Of course this is for entertainment purposes only and for adult use only, not recommended for children (they would not fit inside anyway).

There are small polished rock chips, shell, coral, beads, jewelry pieces and other odds and ends to many to list which makes this little Jar a pretty thing to sit on a shelf near a window so the sun can play with the colors. I used many different recycled jewelry pieces in making the jar and many pieces which were broken and useless have now been reincarnated into something new and exciting and all are happy with their new look.

Child Within

There is always the child within to fall back on. Everyone has that child inside, you know the one. When you just have to splash in the puddles, when you get the urge to jump on that roller coaster and hold your hands up high and trust that the ride won't go off the tracks even though your stomach thinks it just might. Have a little fun today with that child inside and maybe introduce that child to your child over cookie dough or play dough. Everyone needs to let that inner child out once in a while and just have fun, have a good laugh see new things through those inner child eyes. What kind of things bring out the inner child in you?

Spooky Avatar

Avatar is the "Go see movie" there is no doubt about that. Strange spooky creatures are sure to inspire lots of Artist of every type for years to come. Just the name itself has a powerful pull because it's the alter ego of millions of people and that number is growing. Some have more than one Avatar depending on which community they happen to be visiting at that particular time. Some even have multiple personalities to go with these different Avatars. A very timid person may have a strong cruel looking Avatar with an extroverted personality. You can literally have any persona you want through your Avatar and then come back to reality with the click of the mouse.
