Camera Fun
Just taking some photos and playing around with my digital camera and I thought this was interesting. I'm liking the colors, it's a little dark but still came out o.k. I think I need to try something with a little more light for the background though. I used my macro setting and a few things I found around the house and some lights.

Samhain
There are probably a thousand and one different rituals and celebrations that have been created for the coming Samhain when the living and the nonliving come together and cross that line which once separated them. However you celebrate pay close attention to showing respect for the ancestors who have come before us and always be mindful of their strength and power.

Ma & Pa Halloween
Meet Ma & Pa Halloween, if you are against nudity look the other way please! They said their vows and promised to love each other till death do they part, except they didn't part even then. Their love for each other was just too strong, and those implants she got for their 10th anniversary held up just fine too.

Could Lady Gaga NOT wear clothing made out of meat parts! I like that she is a unique and way out there girl, but that "Meatwear" stolen from project runway was just NOT pretty, NOT unique enough and NOT anything she could reasonably explain. She could have worn a pretty piece of pastry and smeared icing all over herself or went totally chocolate with it dripping all over her and strategically placed for a WOW piece and she would have gotten rave reviews. This piece was inspired by Lady Gaga before the meat fiasco and I rather like the big heart she wears. This one started out with a porcelain doll with fabric body. I thought about how to make her clothing, then realized that I can't sew so I painted her with silver acrylic paint, a lead look-a-like of glass paint and lots of jewelry embellishments. The red heart is an acrylic piece recycled from a cheesy piece of jewelry but I liked that the light shines through it beautifully. I hope you enjoy her as much as I enjoyed working on her and you can see a full view at my etsy shop.

Halloween "Vampsace" Designed
A beautiful black clutch altered and embellished for Halloween Party fun by that infamous designer "Vampsace" was just listed at my Etsy shop and is available for purchase. There are buttons of unknown age and past experiences, tattered netted fabric with silvered Stars, Moons and Sunbursts on it and little crocheted circles and beads scattered across this little Club clutch.On another note I found a recipe for the "Fire of Lust" potion as found in "Everyday Magic" a book of Spells & Rituals for Modern Living and it sounds like it just might work for me! Some of the ingredients listed are Bourbon, Vodka, Sloe Gin and a few spices and garnishes. Yes, I think that just might do the trick, or treat!
