My crazy recycled, reincarnate, altered star wars action figure has girl trouble time two, lucky guy! I have been trying to find another action figure or two to play with, but I guess everyone is hanging on to them again. I love this color combo and thought it was a funny theme, kaboodle brings out my funny side sometimes.

Group pictures

This is a group picture of some of my little treasures in my shop. I try to photograph my items so the photo itself looks art like using lots of color and textures. I use shiny fabrics because it drapes easily and you can swirl and shape the fabrics. Sometimes I put a sheer color fabric piece or scarf over other fabrics to change the total color or add shadows to the original color. Maybe using a white background could make some of my items stand out or make them more likely to sell but that would take all the fun out of the process and if your not having fun creating your just missing the whole point.

For the first time in weeks I have a little time for my creative self, and it feels really, really good. I have spent this morning working on some new items for my shop as well as updating some photos for some of my "not yet adopted" treasures. My last adopted treasure went to California to live and just thinking about that new life in the sun and sand makes me smile.

Creative tears

My creative tears are flowing, I have been actually working for The Man. Uncle Sam. The Big Samster Census country count. Making much needed $$, but for that I pay in tears. I have had to put my creative side aside for a while and although I am grieving the loss, I am hoping to explode creatively when I return to my first love. Thank goodness Kaboodle lets me do a fast fifteen minute styleboard just to keep me from going totally insane. Hope you like it, the colors should give some a big energy rush!

Teenage Hellcat... by weirdoddities

Cats are a breed of very wise and elegant entities that roam their kingdom at will and lord over all in that kingdom. This is a style board from kaboodle that I entered into a contest using. The theme is Teenage Hellcats and you are supposed to create something to go with that theme. They are fun to do and I like to use them with my crafts for advertisement purposes. Since I have been working the Census job which is only going to be for a few weeks I haven't been able to find time to do much creating. The paperwork I generate for the U.S. of A doing this is really tough when I think of all the trees I am killing, forgive me! It'll be over soon and they won't do it for another 10 years.

Mothers do only what YOU want to do today because the rest of the year your the go to girl. Enjoy your day doing some of your favorite things. Here is MY LIST:

1. TRY to be selfish, not as easy as it sounds and I usually fail at this.
2. Take a 2 hour bubble bath ALONE!
3. Rent a couple of dish fairies.
4. Stay in my jammies almost all day.
5. Finish one whole chapter in that paperback, without interruption
6. Fit into my favorite skinny jeans again.
7. Receive lots of hugs and kisses. See I can be selfish!
8. Must have chocolates.
9. Create something new and different. (Feels great every time)
and last but not least is to be loved and love in return.

Reincarnated makeover

As long as I am creating something I am happy, as long as I am happy I will continue to create. I found some really interesting material at the Thrift Museum, it's especially made for tie dying and coloring using water paints, veggie dyes and blends in odd ways. Will wonders never cease? Just when I think I have tried it all. I think it was Michealangelo who said "May you always desire more than you can accomplish" or something like that, anyway Well said.

Incantaroma... by weirdoddities

This is one of my Incantaroma Dolls on a styleboard I made at Kaboodle, I think the pictures are really fun to do and come out very interesting depending on the colors used and placement of the items you choose to put in the photos.
I sold my little Lady Gaga and her pet jeweled rat to someone far away from my part of this beautiful country. She is on her way to a new exciting life in a big city full of famous people and she will WOW them all.
